Senior Software Engineer – Advanced Memory Systems
About the job
We are seeking a software engineer to work on advanced memory technology. A large portion of the work is writing and maintaining software, including drivers (kernel and user space) and associated management tools and scripts. We use a wide range of languages on a daily basis including C, C++, golang and python. We often work in the lab with real hardware to measure results and debug the system. The lab is located in Haifa, and we work from the office every day. Occasional travel to customer sites is also required.
Requirements
Software Skills
Minimum 8 years experience with a low level programming language (C, C++, Rust, or similar)
Ability to work in remote Linux environments over command line (SSH, bash, terminal)
Experience writing kernel code is an advantage
Hardware Skills
General knowledge of computer systems architecture
Understanding of PCIe or CXL
Understanding of memory protocols (DDR)
Systems debugging skills
Ability to work in the lab
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering (B.Sc, B.Eng) from a recognized institution. A master’s degree (M.Sc. Or M.Eng) is an advantage
Ability to work proficiently in Hebrew and English (written and spoken)
Academic publications are an advantage
